piston jammed would be too much compression.

Agreed.

And no compression on kickstarter could be due to worn valves or leaking manifold... please don't jump to conclusion too quickly.

Ok, heres the situation. Was at the traffic light, 1st 2nd gear as usual pickup, when i hit my 3rd gear and open the throttle at 2/4, heard a stucked sound at the block and bike auto-jammed and i skid. Brought to the side, tried to kickstart but its jammed halfway. Sorry it ive jumped to conclusions, please advise. Thanks.

Hey bro I'm the one u texted, my advise is like what pms.msn said. Check with local shop for the prices first. Cos usually it's cheaper if u get from them cos plus labour and all. Good luck in rebuilding ur bike Smile hope it isn't tt costly

Local dealers not always cheap compare to online shops. Do your research.

How do you know only the piston and rings need replacing?

What else was damaged during the seizure? Cylinder walls damaged? Con-rod bent? Any low end damage?

4 strokes do not seize for no reason. Oil starvation? Coolant leaks, leading to overheating?
