Stock XR4 muffler is great enough....well designed n handsome....those aftermarket muffler is way too long n protrude unsightly.I would suggest change to powerbomb or other aftermarket header. That will do just fine.IMHO. Cherios",)

I'd suggest you get your bike to run well in stock configuration first, before deciding what mods to make.

A well sorted stock XR4 is plenty fast and smooth. Exhaust mods costs too much for too little benefits, IMHO.

If you must, go for the FMF powerbomb header. The stock muffler works fine. An aftermarket muffler costs an arm and a leg, and gives the same level of performance with the DB killer installed.

Muffler mods wit stock header is pointless IMO . Better jus use wo diffuser but it's gonna set u back $500 fr ur local LTA officer if caught ????been ther done tat. Full system legal not much difference fr stock. Main thing is header which has larger radius tat will giv u bit extra hmmph. Again use at own risk for oversize header. For me I think oversize header w stock muffler is enuff. I'm usin this w diffuser I find ok. Gd mileage too w my set up

Not necessarily powerbomb. Any aftermarket header is good. As long oversized.
