Hi guys, for the past 2 trails I'm at, there has been excessive white smoke coming out from my exhaust. Sometimes it's coming out so much while there are times when it'd just stop. I had just changed engine oil and gear oil for my KTM4 2 nights ago and not rode my bike since the change. But still the same thing happened just now at Ah Guang's trail. What are some of the possibilities of the problem(s) I'm facing? Anyone care to share with me? Thanks in advance guys

I did valve clearance alr only recently. The only thing not done yet was timing chain but I don't hear ticking sound just yet plus ah seng said I don't have to do that yet. Izzyb, my gear oil just now gonna empty also. I don't know why sia. Just changed it 2 nights ago tgthr with engine oil. I checked for any leaking just ow after topping up the gear oil but no leaks eh.

Last week when I trailed at TM also same thing. White smoke like crazy for a moment. But it stopped after awhile. When white smoke came out of my exhaust, my idling was very low. Bike kept dying off. Plus it was more difficult to start the bike after that. Tts why I went to change engine oil and gear oil after that. But still problem persist again today at ah Guang's trail.

All these happened after trailing at Kahang 2 weeks ago. It was flooded there. When I changed my engine oil 2 nights ago, my engine oil was black. Very black despite only 2 rides. Gear oil was milky like tea with milk ( teh susu ). I know water went in into my gear oil. Anyone experienced this before?

So the possibilities are
1) piston ring could be a goner
2) valve clearance/ valve setting

Anything else? Sorry everyone I'm still learning. I'm planning to push my bike to ah seng when he opens

your gear oil goin to be empty after you changed it 2 days ago? Check the amount of oil in the crankcase and if theres more than usual, there might be oil transfer issues, the crank seal blowing or something which plagues quite a number the separate compartment ktms.

Very simple solution , just go find Ah Guang , All our engines will last quite a while before any major repairs , if you want a lasting engine , you have to bring it to someone who knows how to make it trail worthy .

I think tats the case. I saw ah guang open his engine plug, so much oil came out. Then gearbox oil empty.
