I can offer you just one great pointer which will guarantee that you don't end up with a lemon that is to avoid buying a WR200. Rolling Eyes

^ haha...I was going to say, if you want a really good WR200...make some WR200 stickers, buy a KTM200 and stick the WR200 stickers on it!

I am just kidding though...never owned a WR, only KTM's, so don't really know anything about the WR's.

Other than KTM's are WAAAAAY better Wink

kidding! I jest...

Hmm I guess for Wr2 you need to check the powervalve and smoothness of the bike. Check for leaks on forks and suspension. Rear suspension esp. Not cheap to rebuild. Ask him what 2t he uses and from there you will get a rough gauge of how he takes care of the bike.

Well a Wr2 can be a really powerful bike or a really sour lemon. Depends on how the owner took care of the bike. Same as any other bike.

eliminator. do take note you're talking to a newbie rider who may not know how to check all these things or know the terms you're talking about.

Do u have buddy who ride a dirt bike if best WR2 ? I really suggest u get someone who can help check the bike when viewing if u are not similar with thing that u have to look out for. If u are searching for one in slackrider, most of the condition sux....

Look out for WR2 seller who respond to my above comment. if they can prove me wrong then that is the bike u can buy. Hope my comment can help u find ur ideal WR2.....

Do ask around about the availablity of the spare parts of WR2. Dun get a bike which u can't find any spare part to replace. Last heard CDI and complete wire harness hard to get.
