Thank you everyone for all the race support. I was very well taken care of throughout the whole event. I'm still thinking abt the race cos it was far beyond enjoyable.
The obstacles were very intimidating initially, I wished I had practiced it a little before embarrassing myself in front of so many people! I had many crashes but I learnt alot too. I managed to clear all the obstacles one way or another, depending on my "mood" cos a clean run is hard to come by. Those that looked the easiest were the worst. The whole time I was waiting for the checkered flag to appear so I can finally get a break cos there was no time to sit at the course (but I sat quite abit, cos I was getting slower and exhausted as time went by). It was one nasty obstacle after another, non-stop! The horror. It was not that hardcore but it was just physically and mentally tiring.
However, it was an interesting concept that was new to me, cos I thought we were going into the foreign jungle. Instead, it gave the spectators a good laugh as they could see almost the whole enduro race route.
Thank god that "drowning in the mud" pic was the last lap bcos I had a hard time trying to keep my hands and butt in place. Two people needed to drag me out, and I needed to dig the mud to lift up my boots. It was that deep and sticky! Gross! I not only look like a monster, I felt like one too! It was such a horrible feeling... Tough luck! Haha.
Overall, it was a great event. I hope everyone enjoyed the race as much as I did. Good job all!
