One wud expect TP to be everywhere and to summon everybody but they shud know that is impossible and these TP are Superman... Well, here is one TP that didn't look the other way and happens to be at the right place and at the right time.
I remember a guy who complained of the same thing..."Every day I saw people texting and talking on the phone while driving or riding...I never do that untuil one day when my boss called me while I was driving and I had to answer the phone...a couple seconds later, this TP idiot stopped me"....Too bad right?

I think u are lucky he gave you your licence back and I think the TP is quite reasonable and also very accomadating by doing that. I don't think he will charge you on all your offence, although you baheved like a bigot by arguing with him, when afterall he was doing his job....you might say differently if he let;s go a traffic offender in front of you...but here you are complaining because he caught you.
Well, I salute the TP. Good job mate. |
Bollocks.
The TP's job is to stop idiots texting while driving, speeding, changing lanes without looking or indicating...general stuff we see here ten thousand times a day on my commute to and from work that often results in me having to take evasive action on my bike, and I hardly ever see a cop busting one of these idiots, but this guy rides a bike a few meters without a helmet and he could be looking at jail time?!? Yeah...well done the tp for looking out for this guys safety...what a load of crap! The Tp can use common sense and if this guys bike is really a death trap and totally illeagal then fine him, but the helmet thing is daft. |
Mind me for being harsh...well tat just means that u have not done ur homework turrer enough then...statistics on the amount of handphone offences being caught is high...the reason why u have not see them being busted is becoz TP is not everywhere, they will catch those who are caught in the act..If u were to ever caught in an accident,i just hope that u dun call TP for assistance and for justice,go and manage it urself.Think first before u blast...and for the helmet thing, its not unlucky, its downright stupidity,we are all binded by law,if we fail to comform to it and caught doing so,be a man and stand up for it consequences and not demand for chances...thats what typical singaporeans usually do..if the officer says that he will book u for ur helmet, then it will be only ur helmet...ur other miscellaneous offences,u better do sumthing about it...in my opinion, not having a rear plate is too much..i apologise once again.

Time to practise my fingers so that I dont get arm pump at Nusa
TP at Carpark
Has it occured to you that u are already marked by neighbors who had enuff of ure FMF? Then again this usually falls under the purview of LTA.. What TP doing at ure carpark? well tough luck.. maybe he was buying makan at the nearby coffeeshop.. maybe he buying cigerettes, maybe he withdraw money from ATM.. and the list goes on and on and on...
I even saw a wrx once summoning a driver at my carpark..
Helmet
yes it might sound stupid that you have to wear a helmet even for 5 seconds.. but the law is the law... In sg u can even commit murder and traffick drugs.,... Just dont get caught.. U got caught....
Argueing with TP
bro where have u been? The last person u argue with is TP or LTA.. esp if u were NOT wearing a helmet, HAD a non approved pipe.. had NO REGISTRATION NUMBER PLATES.. had ALL ILLEGAL PARTGS.. uRE LUCKY HE DIDNHT TOW URE BIKE AWAY OR AN ESCORT TO THE NEArest inspection centre
Worse case scenario he call for back up from a NPC and have u arrested for disorderly behaviour
So i guess a fine is a pretty light slap on the wrists

I think ure question was innocent enuff initially
But Im sure you started getting flak here
when ure posts seem to suggest that it was the TP's fault
for what happned to you or u were just unlucky and he is the one who started the arguing.. Its hard to take a moral high ground when u start off doing something wrong in the first place.. anyway do let us know what the fine is for not wearing a helmet.... cause i personally saw someone slip and fall whilst walking on cement and the impact actually split his scalp..... Wonder if the fine is cheaper than the medical treatment that poor old man got.. (if u get my drift)
