It be a miracle if more ppl like you support races like in larkin, anyway, were you there at Tuas from the first round to the very last race? speaking bout supporting the local races, did you?

These group of riders u mentioned are NOT INTERESTED in motocross. If they were, they would have join the Tuas or even the Johor Series(which have Trail category fyi).

Lets say we have a track in singapore, definitely there's entrance fee and with that isn't everything back to square 1? Nothing is free nor cheap in singapore even so, we would get bored of riding the same old track over and over again. There's a friend of mine who even went all the way up to KL just to have coaching session. You'll pick up more by exposing to other track or terrain.. Thank you and no hard feelings..

Gnarly's original comments(even tho it's off topic) was about growing the sport, exposure for the sport. Making it more accessible for the Singaporeans - so that it'll grow.

It is not a racer's complain about no venue to race in locally. Or that racing fees are too expensive blah blah blah... These 2 topics have been discussed to death, though it never fail to stir up strong emotions from some individuals.

I do get his point - that if we want motorcross/enduro to grow in Singapore, you gotta start having events locally, not across the border. Simple.

We are talking bout Larkin Dude Larkin Mx bro. Why don't you come up with something here for Singapore??..Let me say something that will hurt thru facts of reality, Why did tuas close down? Cos most majority did not go there to ride to support it. That is the most basic answer you could get because business profit wasn't met!..Where was everyone when Keith the Track operator was making up races until it closed down to make way for 4WD...you think it's easy??..i doubt so.

Many tried, many efforts down the drain, Lotsa money lost.

Shah, motorcross race is at larkin track I agree. But at least if there is a race again at larkin, MUST have trail bike category lah so that I can join with my humble XR400 again....He..he..Loved the trail bike race...Cant wait to play again at larkin track...COME ON PEOPLE....Support the organisers to make this happening again....PEACE!!!

FYI, there was a trail bike class at the Larkin races.

FYI...I have a mate who won expert class mx races in malaysia (maybe even won the title that year...but my memory is not so good!) on an XR400....racing against legends of the sport in this region on factory supported full on mx bikes....so guys that wanna grow the sport: go do it...dont talk about it. Organize the land, commit your money, lay the track and advertise. Or just keep on keeping on with the bullshit. Hope to see you all in the trail bike class at Larkin...or even in the mx class on your trail bikes....

That man on the xr was Jesus, Jesus touched the hearts of many with his holy jumps and whips of worship, holeshots to heaven was a fav of mine. But even Jesus got pissed off with the bullshit and eventually one day he said screw this I'm off to play pro dodge ball and has never been seen at an Mx track again.
