Xr4 backfiring probs

Have this prob after i just took out my bike from overhaul.n carb changed.doubt it has to be my carb jettings but everytime when close throttle there is a lot of clapping sound from the end can.can anyone explain?

im xperiencing crazy clappings too..!! isit cos of removed diffuser?

Air leak at all or one of the exhaust connections

Seal the joints with exhaust joint compound or high temp silicone sealant

if u removed ur diffuser,there will be backfiring ..so its normal bro.

try replacing the black rubber thingy connecting your air filter and carb Wink

got it done jus now.. my carb was missing an oil seal. now its all nice n goooood!
