I'm riding a 200c 2 stroker and 2 weeks ago while riding in the trails, all of a sudden my bike bogged and it made a sound like it's going to foul the spark plug. Couldn't start my bike after it died. After changing the plug, very thick white smoke (akin to the smoke used for mosquito fogging) starts to come out from the exhaust. The sound is different and there is a loss in power. I managed to ride my bike out and get it towed. I just did a top end rebuild in April and I ruled out piston ring wear at first. Could either be the engine is burning coolant or oil.

When I sent my bike to the mech, I noticed that the thick exhaust smell was nauseating and it had to be an oil leak somewhere. My mech figured that it's the oil gasket and true enough, when he opened it, he said that it was twisted off from it's normal position. The bike did fine after I got the oil gasket changed and I rode it home. Yesterday while hitting the dirt, the exact same thing happened! How could the gasket be blown again? Come to think of it, the problem surfaced ever since I did a rush job and used cheap 3 bucks coolant for my radiator. Can the type or grade of coolant actually cause a gasket to blow?

Question 2 : I've yet to send my bike to the mech. Is there anything else I need to check out to prevent this probelm from surfacing again? (check piston ring, water pump gasket, etc..?)

Sincerely hope you guys can help out.

Hmm, I did anyhow mix the coolant. When I opened it when the smoke came out, it was frothing. I bought maxima coolaide premix and am gonna replace the coolant when I change the gasket. Let's hope that solves the problem.

Maybe a loose exhaust flange gasket after a fall ,nothing serious ;check you exhaust belly ,out of shape ? wobbling? bend ? or bad fitment .

never mix coolant properly also never mind, add water can already .
Cheap coolant doesn't meant it will damage your bike .
