Saw this bike quite sometime back already along Balestier Road and yeah like what privateer41 has mentioned, I guess most of us think the same way too in terms of support.

Anyway the fork length like... kinda short aye?

Since i ride mx only i wouldnt touch that bike with a 10 foot pole,

but it should be ok for simple trails (like fire-trails), nothing technical tho, it might get stuck.

I think the derbi look nicer but the price tag a bit steep for a 125cc, unless the power makes up for it (it's a 4 stroke 125 after all). For road rides I think okay la but for trails, might be a problem in the more technical sections with the fork length and I'm not sure about the power a zongshen churns out. Not to mention, bulletproofness. I'm sure one of the advantage of this bike is good F.C.

i am riding the derbi drd 125sm, hmmm. like sops said, for normal road is ok, power still not bad if u compare other 4stroke 125-150cc bikes. and for the zhongsan bike look abit like mine and abit like dr200.

Imagine you trail, you fall, you broke your foot brake pedal and you go back to the shop you bought it from and the salesman says there's no support for the time being and even if there is, it takes 3 months to ship in the product so meanwhile, he improvises, grab a pedal from some other bike and installs it on your bike and gradually in a long run, more stuff starts to wear and requires changes then your bike fails one day then... GG'ed.

Okay, I'm just thinking the worst case scenario so pardon me. It's really not cool should such a thing happen to you. I'm sure you wouldn't wanna get yourself in a mess like this too.

When I was racing the Asian Road Racing Championship back in the early '00s Zongshen used to sponsor some really fast riders...but they raced Yamaha R6s...if the rider failed to make the podium they were fired..they had different riders nearly every race...they had plenty of money to spend, but had no idea how to run a team, or how to treat a rider...sure they have learnt by now though....
