Hi all....firstly thank you for reading my post. I would like to know your opinion on which will best suit me for my 2a bike coz i do not intend to upgrade any furhter and planning to go all the way wif the bike.... Below are the scenarios:

1) Going to work from Bedok to Jurong (nearing Tuas to Bedok.....(6days/wk)
2) Total estimated weight on the bike will be 200 kg (pillon n me n documents)
3) Travelling on expressway (PIE) most of the time (during peak hours)
4) On and off fun in the woods......

So, in your opinion which of this 2 bikes will be worth to get in term of:
1) Safety (1.65m & 100kg = Short and fat....hehehehe)
2) Millage (fuel consumption)
3) Maintenance
4) Spare parts availabilty
5) Btw i do need a box (the bigger the better ) for my work as i need to carry document to and fro from home to work.

As for now, im leaning towards into the nx4...or any other bikes to recommend?

Thank You for reading and replying........any comments will be greatly appreciated.

DRZ-SM recommended.

Easy parts availability, reliable, newer technology compared to NX4.

Another vote for the DRZ Sm = ) Maintence is cheap. Only 2 bottle of engine oil and alternate oil change change oil filter and spark plug.
Fuel comsumption for mine 1 litre = 24km .
Spare parts is very easy to get

I wouldn't totally rule out the NX-4 as it does have some advantage over the DRZ-SM.

The NX-4 being an air-cooled engine has it's advantage. It is simple thus required easier to DIY maintenance, and cheaper to maintain since there is no need for coolant. The DRZ-S model (presumably same as the DRZ-SM) has two separate radiators, one on each side. Each radiator costs $300.

The stock DRZ seat is an ass splitter if you have a fat ass, it will do a wedgie Mr. Green . The NX-4 seat is wide, and deep, and contours to suit all asses. It is definitely more comfortable especially riding two up.

The NX-4 is also cheaper to buy although it is not as common as the DRZ.

Very Happy

Must be objective and remain neutral when people ask for opinions.

Between the NX4 and DRZ, I will naturally chose the DRZ,

Then are ways to solve the wedgie problem on the DRZ. The more costly way is to get a Corbin seat, and the cheaper way is to get the stock seat modified by Eugene.

Toobez got his DRZ-SM seat fixed at Eugene but it still ripped his fat ass when he rode on it to Koh Samui Mr. Green

NX4 is best. Most spare parts are like XR4. Engine is low maintenance. And best of all, rear hub is cush drive, great for bigger riders and long distance tarmac rides. Theft rate is lower than DRZ too.

I would go the NX4 as a low maintenance daily transport bike.

XR4 = 0
NX4 = 0
DRZ-sm = 1

Looks like the score now is

NX4 = 3
DRZ-sm = 2
