I had just received this email from the organiser.
Hi Team & Members Riders,
ROAD SAFETY PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMME – ‘BBDC RIDE SAFE 2010 - Amazing Ride’
Once again, we have been invited to participate the Road Safety & Ride Safe event 2010 by Traffic Police.
Traffic Police, in collaboration with Bukit Batok Driving Centre Ltd will be organising the BBDC Ride Safe 2010 on 13th November 2010 at Bukit Batok Driving Centre Ltd and invited Bikers Aid to participate from 8.30am to 1.30pm.
2. Similar to last year’s campaign, we aim to inculcate safe riding habits to the participants through the education and activities planned for them. Participants will be able to learn riding tips from qualified instructors on actual road conditions.
Furthermore, they will have the chance to learn riding techniques and know their riding strengths and weaknesses in a novel way when they participate in the training programme.
The proposed Guest-of-Honour for this event is Mr Masagos Zulkifli Bin Masagos Mohamad, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education & Ministry of Home Affairs.
3. Please note that there will be no ‘Convoy Riding’ this year and we will be introducing a new activity 'Amazing Ride' this year. This is an expansion from the “Safe and Skilled Riding Training” conducted in the past three Ride Safe campaigns. The riders will still be learning safety tips and improve their riding skills. However this year, the stations will be situated outside BBDC and the riders will practice defensive riding on the public roads as they make their way to the stations. Marshals will be located at various spots to look out for riders who apply defensive riding techniques and they will stand to win prizes.
4 The participants will each be given a route card and they will be divided into groups of 5 . They will then ride together in their groups to proceed to 3 stations to complete tasks by answering a Road Safety Quiz at each station. At one of the station, BBDC instructors will share safe riding tips to the participants on how they should ride safety along with other vehicles. The rider’s route card will be endorsed for every station visited to qualify for the grand draw at the end of the event. Participants will be given goody bag and there will be exciting stage events and attractive prizes will be given away during the lucky draw too.
5. We thank you for your support last year and we are requesting for your support this year by nominating up to your riders for this programme. Send your reply for this segment as soon as posible as we have limited entry for participation. Please refer to the attachment for the nomination form and (See attached file: Annex B - Namelist for Riders.doc). Submission nomination form latest by Thursday, 14/10/2010
Your support and participation is very much appreciated and to gain educational on road safety.
Thank you and best regards.

We have heard about the PRC Ferrari who had crashed into a Taxi and left the taxi driver, Japanese pasenger & himself dead.
Accidents & shit happens.
If not for us who have been observing safety measures, one idiotic attitude who choose not to comply with road safety may eventually kill someone else....
Lesson learn for us,
"Always slow down when approaching a traffic light junction & do not pick up or inch foward too quick just after the green light changes from red."
I feel sad for the innocent victims.
The junction at the Bugis Junction area is one of the most prominent fatal accidents junctions in Singapore.
