Yes you can ride in on your own not a problem, from Woodlands i think its under 1 hr to the resort

Went for a trail ride at the resort last weekend looking for some trails for the upcomming race. Sunday found some awesome single track up to a waterfall way into the forest. Really good riding over logs, bolders, and creek crossings. Unfortunately its a one way trail and a bit technical so not suitable for the race.
One the monday I was out riding by myself while my wife caugth a few rays at the pool. Rode up behind the quary and bush bashed through some scrub onto a ridge and found tiger prints in the soft dirt at the top of the ridge. It was great to see that some of them are still around and surviving with so much of their habitat destroyed by palm plantations. Shortly after I came across a group of local trail riders riding some of the strangest home made bikes I have ever seen. We rode together for a while and ended up on the main highway to Mersing where the old gun emplacements are on the side of the road. From there it was some cool logging tracks back to kota tinggi town.
Theres some really good riding up there and you can go for miles offroad in pretty much any direction. Its going to be a great race!
