Round 2 of the MSSC X-Country series is being planned for early April at Kota Tinggi Waterfall resort. This will be a 2 day event, included in the entry fee will be transportation for the rider and bike return to Gelang Patah. Support crew or buddies can also come along

Open to all Singapore and Invitational riders

The resort has an array of accomodation from bungalows to camping. Has plenty of eating places, swimming pool and other facilities.

Saturday afternoon will be official practice or treat it as a trail ride, 1 loop for all riders but with evil expert section.
Saturday evening, dinner, swimming and bench racing

Sunday morning, breakfast and final bike preparations
Sunday Lunchtime the games begin
Sunday evening back to Gelang Patah R&R

Its not that scary but it is mildly extreme in some areas of the expert loop, Laza and I went up a few weeks ago and climbed the worst hill which takes about 20 minutes to get up the rest is simple single track trail. There is also a quarry that granulates rock, this place is very good and we are in discussion with the owners regarding access for a special mx test in the quarry. So far everybody has been very enthusiastic about getting this to happen so I am very confident this is going to be something special and well organised. We may with time permitting run a moto on Saturday. Kota Tinggi could be the biggest and most entertaining dirt bike event to happen yet assuming it is all worked out in advance and plenty of genuine enthusiasts step forward to help make it happen

This place is really awesome and has a lot of potential. As you drive to the falls its pretty much all uphill from Kota Tinggi and you get into a whole new climate. The air is cooler and fresher which means you can ride harder for longer!
The resort looks nice and there's lots of swimming and things to do. Should be a great weekend. Thanks Frank for the great ideas and realizing the vision!

Need to get a trail bike soon! oh ya, applying leave is a big problem for my workplace but will try!

You dont need a trail bike for this type of race, mx bikes are very suited to the terrain as there is no long straights and agressive power is required ine expert route so come on mx champs come along and have a go.

The other great thing about KT is that its a super place to bring family, gf's and friends along for the weekend, even if they dont want to watch they can still enjoy all of the facilities on hand and enjoy a relaxing weekend.

I think the waterfall pool will look very nice after finishing the race for a fast cool down!

CRF, KXF, XR ,EXC,EGS DRZ, WR and even a CBR will get round this track, its all about the rider and the experts will be challenged although you will have allof saturday to overcome any difficulties.

Round 1 is where you need to break your duck and get used to riding a decent amount of time

Well round 1 was pretty much a big success with over 80 bikes and the majority of them from Singapore.

So round 2?
Kota Tinggi in April, firm date to be confirmed.

We can arrange transport if there is demand but to clarify this you might want to start a list immediately as I will not have time to sort this out 1 or 2 weeks before the race, so give me plenty notice and we can work on it.

Round 2 in KT..... sounds awesome!! its my 1st taking part X-C at nusa!! Reli enjoyed myself!! Kudos to the organisers!!!
I tink if u could state the estimated cost of transportation, accomodation and entry fees for the upcoming KT X-C, maybe others can start consider to take part when the budget is out.. i'm a newbie but i'm juz giving suggestions for people like me who is unfamiliar wit tis stuffs..
