Just heard the news.

A regular face during Ah Guang's trails, an excellent and dependable rider and friend has passed on to be with god early this morning...

He was involved in a car accident on Sat evening in JB. ICU till 2am this morning when he passed.

Mamat's one of those low profile guys who doesn't talk very much but is very active in assisting during the whole trail.

In fact we were just riding last Sunday.

My condolences to his family, wife & baby son..

Sorry best pic I got is this one from a fews years ago. He's the third from the left in the picture below

And fifth from left behind Onishi

Al-Fatehah.

I only got to meet him for the first & the last time when I was conducting the "81 riders Ah Guang Trail" briefing @ Kampong Glam Cafe. He shared his experienced & knowledge to some of us who were present on that day. But sadly, he cuden make it for the ride.

Was on the way to work & received a few miss calls from Wan KTM at 7.30am.

He delivered me the message & called abg Nan(maznan) for details & confirmation.

Sadly, its true. Wan Mamat had passed on.

8am: Immediately, I inform (via sms) to those slackriders who may know him.

My condolences to his family.
