Thanks guys... a slow & relax ride I would say...Super newbie trail ride


Pre-Ride Scene:

Time, 0800hrs depart home. Plan to Buddy's house to collect the communication sets, check on the rations, Final Recce of trail route & form up at the meetup location by 1130hrs.

Unfortunately, my front tyre got deflated again despite the chage of tube made the day before. It punchured again. Contacted the recce team on change of plans & delegate tasks. Some checked out the rations, one came to accompany me, one do Final recce.

0900hrs, slowly ride to Bedok SPC try to pump some air, but it went "Psssssstt..." again... accompanied by JJ, called for tow truck which came in 45mins later. & off to the nearest bike shop. Dismantle tyre, shop got no tube, ding-dong ding-dong, clock struck strike 1130hrs. Deploy JJ & ThomasJr to meetup location to relay my status while I get the communication sets.

1230hrs, sudden short heavy downpour & arrived at the meetup location. Riders pump petrol & buy snacks followed by safety briefing & waited for our "V.I.P", Gaylord who is currently staying in JB.

The Ride:

Upon arrival, received info on authorities ops ard our area, announce the route to take, we started our bikes, 6 by 6 we deployed to the trail location.

2nd breifing held at the trail entrance, safety gear checked, deploy the marshalls & OFF WE BLAST!!!!!

Arrived @ the prominent steep hill, WR200 rider fell with minor injuries, Zazin & Thomas Jr lost their way through the dead end bushes, while the rest played on the play ground from the top.

Reformed back again @ the bottom part of the hill, 2 WR facing with difficulties. 1 clutch lever broke & another, throttle jammed. Thanks to those riders who had rendered their assistance. Really appreciate it especially, Mr Ah_Boy, Dzefro & Ajib_Abestuuuuhh..

Out of a sudden! "Bro! Army officer! Army Office on top of the hill!!" I was like "thub dub! thub dub! thub dub!" This cannot be.
I told one of rider to make a call to one of our internal contacts. I spoke to him, get his instructions & minutes later, the new army Ford rover drove by. Ding-Dong Ding-Dong, "Ok-ok, thanks, roger!" & off they go.

Formed up again at the compound, we blasted towards the 2nd playground but was detoured because, got training going on. 1 5-tonne spotted, shelter used, Few rounds of blanks heard, we gather at a safe location & replanned.

Thereafter, we proceed blasting to the more challenging route. Very steep upslope followed by a very steep down slopes, suden corners, down hill gravel terrain w U turn. Casuallties expected but recovered immediately by the rescue team.
