6th Sept, SUN: SlackRiders Visits The Orphanage Home-CHANGE!

Let us take a break, put off your boots & gears... Gather together & ride to a place where some kids needs love & shelter....

During Ramadhan too, Slackriders along with other Allies(Biker Groups) visits the children in the orphanage home at Eunos. Our arrival has been greeted with joy & happiness as they cheered when Slackriders Rolled into their compond. They screamed with joy, calling " Yeah-yeah!!! POWER RANGER COMING!!! POWER RANGER COMING!!!" (coz most of us put on colourful full face MX helmets). Upon arrival, be prepared for a long queue for a pony ride segment whereby, the children got to get onboard our bikes. For the children & your safety, please encourage the kids to put on the helmet. I bet they will love it(putting on MX helmet) & remember to take pictures with them(with their helmets on).
Disclaimer!!!: Photos should never capture the childrens' face as most of them are under the protection order by court unless permitted by the supritendant/supervisor. DO NOT POST THEIR PICTURES ONLINE!!! The Date & Time of the event will only be released VIA SMS as this is a private event organised by another Bikers Team & space is limited. As and when you are with the children, let your hair down & entertain the kids. At about 7pm, we will have dinner(breakfast). And the last segment will be going around Geylang Bazaar with the kids in buddy system(a couple to a kid). You may buy anything for the kids & up to your own budget. Lastly, a farewel to them.... We shall see who will be emotional at that moment....

Anyway, there are about 76 residents(kids) in that home.
Last year, we collected some soft toys for some riders, mostly from Darkangle & donated to them.. presented on the stage, the kids really love it.

Any idea what to give on this year's visit?

8.00PM : Night Bazaar With Kids Briefing
8.15PM : A couple / A Pair to a kid.
8.30PM : Flag Off to Geylang Bazaar.
10.00PM : Back to Childrens' Home
10.30PM : Debrief by the Supritendant & Shakehands With the kids.

I've met with the supritendant of the Childrens' Home Yesterday Night. Glad that some of the kids still remember me.... -feeling sad at the same time...
