hi riders would like to enquire some basic stuff

i want to service my xr4 but am unsure what to do.

i wan to invest in good and affordable engine oil for monthly change

what brand is good and where to change price ?

also oil filter all the same or the are difference ?

please advise your inputs will be greatly apreciated..

i usually do this in jb bike shop, its cheaper as i pump jb fuel, so at e same time out of convinence. i change my eo once a mth, any 20w50 would b gd i guess, abt 18rm per bott. i change my oil filter every 2 mths, abt 15rm. i think air filter should b changed once every half yr, abt 20 sdg at lim ah boy

thats cool infomation haha which shop u go to at JB ? im sure different brand have different quality of oil.. wana know more people ... update here ! everyone can exchange information u maybe using the worse engine oil now that someone had used before..=X

oh its called seng fong, i did my pillon footrest n rack for box there too, 65rm for rack n 65rm for pillon footrest. i had been using esso eo every mth, it doesn't seem to gimme any probs, so i think its ok. e shop is along lorong bapok, lookout for this foodstall called vidalalli, aft tat u'll see shell, e shop is aft shell. they open from 9am to 8pm mon to sat

after esso and before shell.. not the other way round..

i'm hitching a free ride on this thread. is there a way i can put a new steering lock on my xr?

u mean handle-lock? i read abt this somewhere b4. this small locksmith shop beside regina does it. sorry i forgot how much, think its $20 or $30 if i can recall

yeah the handle lock. i wonder if the lock smith can make me a key for it cuz when i bought it, didnt come with one.

yea me too, my handle lock also cannot lock. since day one i had been using padlocks on both from n back discs. this small locksmith shop beside regina does it, e fella can make a key out of it. sorry forgot how much, think its $20 or $30 if i can recall. btw, a friend lock his kickstarter with a bigger padlock, think tats maximum sequrity. unless someone really wanna carry e whole bike onto lorry then no choice

its along the lane. c there's a traffic light at e hawker centre rite? turn left there n look to ur right. u will c this bike shop wit alot of helmets displayed in glass cabinets outside. e small locksmith shop is beside tat shop
