guys, after i shoved the diffuser in, the engine sounds a bit noisy as is to without the diffuser in. is this normal? dunno if investing in an aftermarket exhaust is worth it. cuz i want good airflow with moderate loudness. can anybody advice?

and my bike is kinda hard to start. i always have to use the decomp and get the piston top dead centre. seems like only this method would work. by the time i start it, i'm drenched in sweat. don't know if its a problem or if my technique is not right.

For a start, jet your bike properly with the diffuser out. Start with 58 pilot, 158 main, needle on 3rd clip, and work from there.

The diffuser will not slide in easily into the end cap. You have to use a hammer and get rough with it. Alternatively, you can grind the diffuser (the circular part) down a bit so that it will slide into the end cap easier.

To improve air flow with the diffuser in, you can drill a few small holes on the diffuser face. Illegal, but difficult to spot compared to using RXK diffuser.

For hard starting, it can be a combination of technique, jetting, and idling speed. Assuming your bike is jetted correctly, the correct technique is to press the kickstarter till you hit a stop, then press pass this "stop". This should feel like a "notch". Then bring the kickstarter up, and kick through.

It also helps if you turn up the idling screw half turn.
