I am working with a local company (expert in Battery R&D) in developing a new battery using the latest technology in Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Batteries.

I strongly believe this will soon replace ALL lead acid batteries. The prices in the past have been too expensive to explore, but today, it is possible. Stronger Cranking power, loose up to 1.5Kg of weight (depending on your stock lead acid battery), super small size (so you can relocate it to a better place on the bike), does not loose charge easily like a lead acid when bike is parked for weeks/months......

Very Similar to turntechbattery.com/Tu...y/FAQ.html

Of course...it will be on sale soon at a FRACTION of that price!!! Member's price. Laughing

I am getting a prototype for my DRZ400SM and KLX140L soon. Once tested ok, it will be on sale right here in Slackriders.com

Stay tuned.

When will the battery be on sale ? The battery on my bike has just gone flat, if it's up to a month from now, I'll wait.

A few questions :

a. What is the Ampere (Ah) rating
b. What is the indicative price ?

Very Happy

Hey Kied,

Thats exciting news.

i have bought a 2.5Amp with TurnTechBattery for USD99 plus USD10 for shipping. The 5.0Amp one costs USD159.

If yours is "a fraction" of the USD109.... i am keen. Lots of weight savings. One guy with the DRZ is already using it and it works very well.

a. What is the Ampere (Ah) rating?
I am testing out 3Ah (of course must be alittle better than turntech lah)
Specs of THIS latest LFP battery has been impressive, BTW, I am a Electrical engineer by training....so I think I understand what all the graphs and charts mean. Laughing

b. What is the indicative price ?
The simple shrink-wrap version estimated sale price of S$100. If the demand is good, I can do a plastic molding to house the battery cells inside. but that might bump up the cost & weight alittle.

If you really can't wait, want to sign up for my prototype program? Laughing
I might get it ready for testing next week.
