Early years of 2000. Bike price should be around $2k - $2.5k. Insurance should be less than $850.

Since if you guys using the electric start ones. There are other parts such as Honda CB400 (Super Four) parts which also can be used too. Or can go the Honda agents such as Boon Siew or AS Phoon. Honda parts are easy to find. Not to worry much. The hard to find ones are Aprilia parts.

45T Sprocket? Depends on your front sprocket. What size are you using for the front sprocket? Can use bigger size for the rear sprocket. But if it's not proportionate to your front size sprocket, it might stress your engine. That's why Choing Aik doesn't recommend you to do so. Smile

It will get stressed when you whack your acceleration during the 1st 3 gears if it's not proportionate to the front sporcket size. If you want to run on a 45T sprocket, I suggest your front sprocket should be around 13T if you want a decent power of acceleration. Smile

For trail. I suggest you lower down your tyre pressure for better gripping and traction at dirt. Gear ratio is not really the main thing which need to be considered. It's more to the tyre pressure.

Too much pressure for the tyres will lead to lesser grip at dirt. As if you are running on road tyres riding on dirt Laughing

If really want a little more power, i suggest you change to KeiHin Carburetor. Very Happy

err..tot its already keihin carb? Trail etiqs: tyre pressure are essential. But, in my opinion, gear too plays its part. (Esp through hill climbs. Need the torque). Personal opinion ya. Very Happy
