xr4 rider need help

1> any riders in the north ? near yishun ?

2> need some questions .. well alot of them esp the chain sound in my engine .. is this normal ?

3> the heat is killing .. dries up my pants in 5 mins even i were to pee myself right on Very Happy any solution ?

4> engine brake + more front brake = confirm endo my bike *holy shit* .. is this normal ?

5> where to get those extended pillion footrest ? .. gf very pitiful cos not comfy with the clamp footrest

6> rear brakes sound like lorry braking .. brake pads confirm got 90% life .. still got that lorry sound meh .. how 2 reduce this ?

7> tank is shakey shakey .. front tank is bolted and screwed to the frame in front .. but the tank can still move around if i were to lift from the seat. Am i missing a nut ?

8> how many litres is stock tank ? how many litres is the reserve ?

help you with #7.. you missing the rubber piece under the tank. it fits in nicely to frame between frame & tank. alternatively, you can put rubbe tubes to stop the shakiness..

Help you with #5 - remove the clamped footrest coz it rust easily. Get mechanic to weld a plate with 02 screw holes onto the frame. Buy a pair of footrest <yamaha wave or kupkia bikes >from any repair workshop and screw them onto the welded-plate itself.

No worries, by then ur gf will happ_ily shut up and sit down comfy_ly enjoying the ride with you.....Good luck n ride safe, bro!

no 2..tappet..can adjust for abt 40 bux... make sure mechanic wait for bike to cool down first

no 3.. u ride with bermudas?? wat bike u riding b4 tis.. u must whack the bike then u dun feel the heat accumulate.. my bike becomes very hot if i stay stationary for too long

no 4.. aint it good.. safety mah

no 6 try go to shop and ask to them use the airgun to spray ur calipers. i tink alot of brakedust

haha yea riding with berms .. used to own wr2 few months back .. canot tahan taking the public esp after work

stock tank shud be about 9lit inclusive of 2lit reserve..

Jus go to workshop and ask to tighten the tappet

Xr400 got no raidiator and the engine is cool by our very own natural wind like wat huzair(b**ch) say whack it Razz

its normal , bigger bike bigger power of cause larger engine brake

either get use to it if not weld a foot rest on it
