Surely, if there is sufficient interest.

Here is my design :

Material is 1mm stainless steel, and it's heavy but negligible compared to the DR's weight Mr. Green

With this bash plate, a DR rider could survive a landmine blast provide the airborne bash plate doesn't split the helmet Mr. Green Mr. Green You can try marketing this to SAF. Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

This was actually my prototype, and a more refined design is somewhere in my head.

I am not sure how this design will affect those with main-stand as both are using the same securing holes.

With this plate, it will deflect the noise upwards, and the engine noise becomes more pronounced. Even lining it with rubber sheet doesn't help.

My bash-plate was designed for my DR650, it can probably be adapted for other bikes with some creativity and improvisation. In AJ's hands, it could be converted into a lunch box Mr. Green

Not all DR650 owners will like that design, moreover, there is little cost savings in quantity. Before I re-do my bash plate, I'll let you know, so that the new deisgn can work with your main-stand. And we can brain storm on a better design but not at the expense of cost. The bash-plate must be cheap, yet functional.

Nizam always wanted to have a drink storage compartment there Shocked
