Woah, thats great news!!!

It's like Des Nation Asia version!!

In regards of who to send, shouldn't be that hard right... just look at the current Motocross Championship table!!

I don't think we wanna send in the mini bike champs right? afterall, this is a MOTOCROSS RACE.

Make a trial? Something like what soccer teams do. Find a time and place, spread the news. Who knows, there are more potential out there..

Just my 2 cents

Myself and a friend will come from the USA if we had proper sponsors to make it happen, that would make the race really interesting.

i doubt so ... there was oredi much sh*t stirred in the spore superbike or shud i say sportsbike scene on the selection of the riders to represent Team Singapore ...

all i can say ... if you are the top 2 SMSA Sanctioned MX Races from Singapore ... you will be chosen ... but if you are just a Tanah Merah MX or Yee-Soon MX Champion or some WXYZ club minibike Champion ... you will not be chosen ...

if given a choice ... I will still chose Kelvin Chia and Bryan Kuang ... as IMHO they are the most talented sportmen in Singapore ... give them any motorcyle and they will ride the bike to its limit ...

thumbs up to them and good luck in the selection ...

cheers / EVO

Sounds fair to me... But I think it will make more sense for all the riders interested, to start practicing.
And what better way to do it then to take part in the SIC AAM Malaysian Motocross Championship (Singapore class). In that way, we can prove ourselves and at the same time, we will be able to clock racing hours; riding in a race and staying race ready?

What do you think... There are still 3 more rounds of racing! Cmon lets support the SRdirtbike.com class and who knows, SMSA might just turn up at the race and pick us for their team??

Round 4 - U.Pengelli 14-15/7
Round 5 - B.Tenggara 8-9/9
Round 6 - Sepang 20/10

Lets race for that 2 spots!

Just to add on Aremean's post (which I totally agree). There is a MX race every month, I will expand out the race calendar alittle. So get out there and race and score RESULTS!! I am hearing the trip is fully funded with alittle pocket money for travel expense for the riders. How why and who MX team Singapore 2007.....we can talk and speculate here in a forum.......but is ultimately SMSA's decision.

Round 4 - U.Pengelli 14-15/7

Malaysian round - Shah Alam 11-12/8 SRdirtbike not taking part (alittle too far for most Singaporeans, welcomed to race in the other classes)

Round 5 - B.Tenggara 8-9/9

Round 6 - Sepang 20/10

FIM Asia Nations of MX - China 3-4/11

Sounds very cool!

I'll be there to support the team whom ever that might be. Sounds like an interesting race. Will be good to see Asian motocross at its best.

Good luck team Singapore!
