Rim size/Tyre Size

2.5" ------------------------------------ 110/70 R17(front)
3" ------------------------------------ 110/70 R17 or 120/60 R17(front)
3.5" ------------------------------------ 140/60 R17
(recammend for 2 stoke smaller cc bike)



3.5" ------------------------------------ 120/70 R17(front)
4.25"----------------------------------- 150/60 R17
4.5" ------------------------------------ 150/60 R17 or 160/60 R17
5" ------------------------------------- 160/60 R17 or 165/55 R17

Bro, I not sure the size of the swingarm for WR250f, but I'm quite sure that the Husky can use a 4.5' rear wheel, which can fit a 160.

For the front, still the same, 120.

in the AMA supermotard lite class some were using 3.5(f) 4.25(rear) and some using 3.5(f) and 5"(rear)

i have a 5.0 rear rim ... the reccommended tyre size is 160 but its rubbing against my chain ... i know there some off-set kits out there to prevent this ... but my question is ... is it okay if i use a 150 tyre size on a 5.0 rear rims???

anyone ever watch Beautiful Life (Japan drama)...its hero is Takuya Kimura..

in dat drama..Takuya ride scrambler..!! i dont hav any ideas what type of bike he ride... but its cooool bike..!!

anyone hav any ideas of what kind of tyres he use?? Very Happy

using 150 size for ur 5" rim i belive the width with be the same only the profile become lower coz of the tyre open up(correct me if i'm wrong)

its a spacer to off set your sprocket and chain out by a couple of millimetres ... Smile

yo folks.

I need some advice here.

I have just change my rear tyre to 150 Dunlop GPR70. On a 4.25inch rear rim. And its rubbing against the chain. Hell this type of things often happen and I just wanna know if fellow motobros out here experience it as well?

can i simply ignore it? I use for transport no race.

tell us wat ur ride? normally if the chain rub the tyre u can go to any bike shop to ask them to off set ur fim more to the right side...
