There will be a one off race in Desaru on the 16-18 dec 2005. It will be an aam sanctioned race so will need SMSA licences to race. Prize money is good and accomodation will be cheap at the desaru resort.
We are running the same program as the SIC AAM Malaysian MX Championships but if there is a need to run a SMSA or Singapore class please let me know.
Hope to see u guys there for a great weekend of racing...

I heard about this race from Criss, I may take part. I guess I need an approval letter from the Thai Federation ... I have not ridden my bike since last Sepang round, will definitely need serious practice if I decide to go.
I heard the 1st round of the 2006 Championship would be in Sepang in February ?
Cheers

We all better get some practice in, time is running out! I have seen the that "F*&%ing Scottish test Rider" out playing every weekend. Think his belly isnt so big as last season either.
That effing Scottish test rider has gone and bought a KTM300 with lights, must be intending to get some sneaky practice in the wee hours.
All the Scottish test riders will be supporting the championship rounds and if the belly size reduces further might bring the 300 along for the trail bike class too.

As with all the SIC/Malaysian motocross races ,the organisers (yzfer and his merry men) are more than happy to have a singapore class, providing they have the entries (+10?). -but i think better you sg riders race together with the malaysian riders and get the experience, they have the novice class as well as the trailbike class (trailbike class are for those riders who don't want to do the jumps).
PS -just spoke to yzfer and robo on their way back from desaru, the new track -"sick"!

If Race licence is needed, I doubt we have even 5 motocrossers in Singapore who have this plus interested in going to race this event. I might be wrong.....let's check by starting yet another name list.
Singaporeans with 2005 SMSA MX race licence interested in going for Desaru Race
1)Kied
2)Aremean

Whats the use of putting your name down , i can list all the names down but in the end , your not going to go ....
If your really interested , go get your license done and go for the race...
The license will enable you to race for the whole year ....
