2010 is upon us and 28 Feb is the last day to renew your SMSA memebership and Competition licence. (If you miss, you need to re-join SMSA)
SMSA (Singapore) and AAM (Malaysia) have met up and an agreement: All AAM sanctioned national racing events in 2010 will be open to Singaporeans who are members of SMSA as long as you are holding a SINGAPORE NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION LICENCE. (race insurance is a MUST for overseas racing)
This is GREAT news. Lower cost for racers and competitors around. This includes MORE than 100 Malaysian AAM sanctioned racing events - from cubs, road racing, 1000cc sports, cars, drag race, MX, SM.....everything at Sepang...etc.
Due to the closure of Tuas racing circuit in Singapore. AAM also have given the green light to extend SMSA NATIONAL races to J-Circuit in Pasir Gudang. National events in Singapore and the SMSA Bike Race Series in J-Circuit have the insurance requirements as OPTIONAL.
Moving forward for Motorsports in Singapore.

Not sure, guess we'll never know now that SIC is done. But spoke with Nanthan and he nothing said about that.
