![]() I got to share this. Cos more and more ppl, especially those riding 2 stroke Ktm, dun understand the cause of wet sparkplug. Assuming that the engine is healthy, you are now down to set the jetting of your carb. Base on the diagram above, eg. between idle to 1/8 throttle, the petrol is coming mostly from the slow jet. So assuming if you always ride at this range throttle and you always get a wet sparkplug, then reduce the size of you slow jet. So if you always ride between 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and you always get wet sparkplug, then reduce the size of needle taper. So adjust accordingly based on your situation. Therefore, if you follow the diagram and adjust accrodingly, there is no reason for you to ride wide throttle all the time. No wonder ppl have the misconception that scrambler has too high petrol consumption. My personal view, adjust you jetting accordingly but dun risk your engine by reducing the amount of 2t. 20ml 2t per 1 liter petrol is the best. |
