its a wear n tear, part n parcel of riding bike... thers no preventive measure.. U can only prolong it, not prevent it. For example, when u r in neutral n on the road for a long time, its best to off yr engine for awhile to cool it down.. Correct me if im wrong.

i think yr riding a EC200 right if i am not wrong.. eh i think the place where u should look into is yr water pump. i had a piston seize before due to this problem as the bike got over heated. Look into the problem asap its not something to fool around.TC

ur mechanic said no problem..xiao..engine oil n coolant cannot mix.. if not y bother for gasket n diff cylinder for coolant. logic mah.. if coolant leak to ur engine, ur engine oil composition n characteristic will be affected. leading to severe engine damage.. expensive leh... better get the gaskets checked.

The same thing happened to my bike, but mine's a wr2. Read and see whether this info is useful or not.
It was found that the gasket separating the coolant pump fan and the engine had worn out. Thus coolant slowly leaked into the engine and mixing with the engine oil, causing it mix and turn milky.
I had the seal, pump fan with shaft, gasket for pump fan casing, gasket for engine casing, coolant and engine oil replaced for $90.
