i think it's somewhere between B and C. Measure the gap when the gap is entirely open to get the right readings. Correct me if i'm wrong, return all my knowledge to lecturere liao. hehehehe Razz

C.

A is the threaded 'bolt', where we adjust to get the corrcet gap when engine is cold.
The B part is the locknut (tightened against that rocker arm) for that 'bolt', to ensure the gap dun 'run'.

Ya, most ppl bend their feeler gauge to measure valve clearances.
Wao, since you had yr head off, it shd'nt be a probm to ask the shop whether they cld help you grind them on the spot. Maybe at the same time check for any wear on the cams, rockers and stuffs. Smile
Shop wise, everyone had their favourite, so it's up to you.
If he's willing (time permits), Holeshot's pretty reliable.
