To all the Singapore based riders....please get your racing licence done this week. I was told that the SMSA committee wants to screen each and every race applicant before they approve it, so it can't be done just a week b4 the race.

YZFer, Janet(SMSA) says they have no info on the 2006 SIC-MX races yet. They need to endorse each Singapore rider. Could you please fax or email them at smsa @ pacific.net.sg Thanks.

This is breaking news.....

Our first round has been pushed back to the 25th to 26th Feb. Please update your race calendars. this is due to some unforseen circumstances.

Please let all the riders know. thanks

also i have furnished Janet with all the information.

Ulu Pengili this weekend.

So far only know of one other rider going, anybody else racing? Still time to get the entry done. I have been told that there should be a good turn out of riders and all classes will be very competitive.

Hope to see you on the line

Race with the best of Asia.....only an hour's drive away from Singapore.

2005 FIM Asia defending MX champion, James Robinson will be there. Will you? C'mon....where are the Singapore MX riders? Sad

I did a search on him and here are some info....
www.asiamx.org/index.p...ews&nid=15
www.namssa.org/news.php?nid=12
New Zealand motocross rider James Robinson, 21 of Palmerston North has taken out the overall winner of the prestige Asian Smokin’ Wheels event.
James rode the 3 hour endurance event in hot tropical conditions on the Island of Guam up against top riders from all over Asia including Japan, Philippines, Indonesia and America. James’ report to his sponsors went as follows:

It's Monday morning here on Guam and I am about to get all my gear ready to fly to Hong Kong to do motocross coaching for 3 weeks. During this period I will also get the opportunity in race in China. My return to Guam will be via the Philippines to Round 1 of the Camel Super cross.

Yesterday I raced in the prestige annual motocross event in Guam called 2005 Guam Miller Lite Smokin’ Wheels endurance event. A 3 hour Motocross which I won plus I was the only one to Iron man the whole race. The track was very dusty and rocky and the race conditions very hot and humid. I got one flat rear tire half way through the race but was able to keep my Yamaha up in front the whole race.

I would like to thank all the people that help me at the event and also Frank Rios who gave me his new bike to race the 3hour.

I will be in contact while I am over in Hong Kong and give you some updates on how everything is going.

Thanks again for all your support,

James Robinson

why do you have to be an SIC member to participate? I thought so long as your a SMSA member, you should be able to particpate in the SIC races?
